Great little printer

Works great, set up on my Samsung note. Prints color sharp images. I bought it to compliment my business at craft shows, so we shall see if it works for that. I hope so otherwise I bought it for no reason. I went this package for the simple reason it had a case with it, and I am glad I did. Everything fits perfectly in it except the extra box that you get with the package deal. Everything you need to get started comes with it so no need to open the extra box until you need it anyway. Prints great and easy to set up.

Works great with generic printer driver

After a week of fairly heavy use, this little photo printer is doing great. It produces excellent glossy prints. Setup/installation was NOT a snap, however. I dutifully downloaded the recommended printer driver from Canon's website, but their driver refused to load or run. My trusty Win10 PC, however, substituted a generic IPP class driver, and now I'm successfully printing from my computer via a wireless connection. I haven't tried printing from a smartphone, however, nor from an SD card. So I don't know if the generic Microsoft driver will support those functions. But since I only want to print from my computer, I'm satisfied to have a workable work-around for the Canon driver's failure to install. I've read that people have trouble getting this CP1300 model to work on Win11. But my PC is Win10, so I'm surprised at the printer driver's installation glitch. Regardless, I'm printing great-looking photos, so I don't really care how or why the printer works on my Win10 PC. I just know that it does work.

I like the simplicity of loading paper and ink. The quality of color is vibrant. Directions are mostly clear. It is easy to crop and adjust picture. Only drawback with the crop tool is size of crop is limited. Borderless printing is accurate. I used it for a Photo Booth. I used the seat of a walker as a desk as printing station. Plenty of room for printer, spare supplies and camera.
