[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nesco infrared oil free turkey roaster is my new favorite machine to add to my kitchen equipment. The machine itself is very large so plan on having a lot of counter space for it, use it, and then stow it away until the next roast. It holds a full size turkey up to 18 lbs and cooks it at about 2 hrs tops on high speed. You do have to smoke it out first time use so do not miss that step as it will potentially stink up the house and the food. I connected mine on patio and then brought it back inside once I was ready to roast. The roaster comes with an easy to carry handle for moving the turkey in and out of the large bowl. It has 3 burners which alternate the cooking for a perfect crisp but not burnt finish. It also has a central burner which cooks the turkey from the inside out which is what makes this machine unique. The turkey is upright the entire time so all the extra fat drips aways. It does have an easy to clean drip pan on bottom and the liquid could be used for gravy if one wishes. The roaster itself can be used for chicken and even prime rib. I will definitely be using this roaster for multiple types of meats. This will be prime on Thanksgiving though which will speed up the entire meal prep from the traditional 4 hours. Excellent machine, cooks fast, and the turkey turned out perfect and juicy and very consistent cooking throughout. I had no issue reaching 165 degrees in no time. I would highly recommend this machine as I had a positive experience using it.
