I purchased this galaxy tab a 8 case to go along with the tablet for my daughter's 8th birthday. She is pretty rough on electronics so i searched for the toughest looking case i could find. This one is perfect! I loved i could pick her favorite color and that this was not a flimsy cheap case. Its definitely tough. Shes dropped her tablet in this case more than 5 times ive counted onto tile, wood, and concrete ground. Not a scratch. Tablet is fully protected for impact of falls. The screen protector is a thin flimsy like scratch cover. Defitely not shatterproof protection, but it is doing its job. My daughter loves the grip handle on the back that adjusts by clicking into place. The shoulder strap is a pretty cool feature too! It also has a stand that works and retracts perfectly. I just ordered another samsung galaxy a 8 2019 tablet for Christmas for my other daughter and will be purchasing another case from this seller! Shipping was faster than my other items coming from walmart. Very happy with this purchase. *The second pic shows the strap adjusted to an 8 year olds hand, obviously mine is too big and i did not readjust for this photo, but it is velcro adjustable and the velcro has a strong hold.
