The craftsmanship is beautiful — the details on the scepter and the puppy's face are so charming. It's the perfect size for my entryway at 32 inches, big enough to make a statement but not too heavy to move around. It feels sturdy and well-made, and the paint finish is glossy and festive. A wonderful addition to my holiday décor — I'm already thinking of getting another one for the other side of my porch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this is 100% better than I thought it would be. It is very sturdy -my clumsy Tripawd dog fell into it and it stayed upright!! The paint quality is excellent and I can tell that it won't fade or chip throughout the years (and I plan on keeping this for years!). We don't go overboard with holiday decorations and this will fit right in. The size is perfect to either put in a front entryway or near a tree. The dog theme of this translates well and the dog head/face is perfect and adorable and isn't tacky like some other animal themed tchotchke can be. It is well made and doesn't look like it would break into pieces if you was accidentally knocked down.
