Studying of HCV & Its Specific Antibody in Oral Fluid (Paperback)

Hepatitis C virus infection represents a major public health problem in the world today. An estimated about 170 million persons are living with this fatal infection. This book includes a study aimed for evaluating Oral Fluid testing as an effective alternative to serum antibody testing for diagnosis of hepatitis c infection in order to decrease the rate of exposure to blood by the health care workers. In addition, assessment of the correlation between the presence of HCV-Ab and HCV-RNA in the Oral Fluid was achieved in this study.
