The Darjeeling Limited is in my opinion director Wes Anderson's best film.It is his most emotionally complex and overall most entertaining.The short film included on this dvd release''Hotel Chevalier'' intended to be viewed before the feature is worth the purchase price alone.Owen Wilson,Adrien Brody,and Jason Schwartzman as the estranged brothers reuninting in India after a year of not speaking following their father's funeral turn in wonderfully nuanced performances.Wes Anderson has truly grown into a master of his craft.This film will definitely not appeal to everyone but for those willing to pay attention and get caught up in the crazy story of three brothers it is an experience to be cherished.

The Darjeeling Limited

Owen Wilson head's up this dramady about three brothers who travel to India to reunite with their widowed mother. It's funny at some points, but the humour is balanced out by the occasional reminder of how fragile life is. On a more technical note, the DVD arrived at my house with the actual disc, not properly snapped into the holder, thus causing the disc to become scratched during shipping, but not to the point of the disc being unplayable.

Dull & Pretentious

So many friends and family recommended this movie, and it even received great reviews. Unfortunately we found it slow paced, lacking a plot and pretending to be a 'deep and meaningful' movie. I paid about 17$ for this movie, but I think it's only worth about 3$.
