Great, for the right price

I bought one of these (2016 model packaged as shown) at a different store for $10, marked down from $20. For what I paid I highly recommend it, comes with some basic tackle that could catch you a decent amount of different fish like sun fish, crappie, small bass, trout, suckers, basically any fish small enough to land on the included hooks, which with a little work could really be any fish freshwater fish out there. the reel is essentially a zebco 202, which is fine, a 404 or a 33 would be much better, but technically the 202 is capable of handling 12 test line which can take some pretty big fish. The rod is actually great, a 2pc 5'6" medium-light action casting rod that so far is really holding up to some insane ware. I expect the 202 will eventually fail on me, which is fine given the price, although currently despite being a little loud and slow and crunchy feeling the reel is doing quite well, including the supposedly bad drag system which for me works great. Worst case scenario, I burn through the 202 and buy a new 33 platinum to put on the rod, as it's really the ultimate camping rod, but for now I love the whole combo.
