I used to wear small, but with age, now i wear M and they still feel great. i dont like wearing it too tight and with the design and the pockets, it looks modest. I would say it's true to size. I have had NO problems with the way it fits around the crotch or the thigh area. My favorite colors are dark denim and charcoal.
