From That Moment is the second installment of the Promise Me series does not disappoint. The Promise Me series is tangentially related to the Montgomery Ink series. These books are about 4 single friends who decide to set each other up on blind dates.what could go wrong! As we read, we see that each of the women have difficult pasts which makes us root harder for them to get their HEA! In From That Moment we get to be involved in the HEA of Paris and Prior. Paris is prickly as she finds that she and Prior will be working together for the near future. Paris is a female in a predominantly male job market and has felt the sting of sexism before and worries that her friendship with Prior will be misconstrued. The women of the series are trying to set Paris up on a blind date, as is their pact. Prior keeps turning up as the blind dates Paris is on go south. The story continues to weave the two together as their feelings continue to grow. This is another great story by Carrie Ann Ryan. She is fabulous at building relatable characters and weaving stories.
