Effective heater for large spaces

We have a large basement in an old, drafty house. It's basically a large rec room and laundry/bathroom. We keep this set on 65 and it keeps the chill off and is safe around our two cats and large dog. I am very happy I took the chance and bought this! Previous winters, the basement has been very cold and I have worried about pipes freezing. This heater has kept the downstairs comfortable and I worry less about the pipes. The kids don't complain about how cold it is down there either!
