DO NOT BUY!! 2 failed drives in under a month!

I bought 2 of these drives and both of them failed in under a month. They were both used only a handful of times to back up less than 1gb of data. They were safely stored and never abused in any way. Both experienced complete failure and became unreadable. Our computer tech was unable to recover anything from them and wasn't even able to wipe the drives and get them working again. I've always been a fan of Verbatim, but it's obvious they have gone downhill. Our computer tech advised us to stay away from Verbatim going forward because he's seen a lot of problems with this brand lately.
