My husband likes these shorts because they are roomy and the fabric is light and cool. I like them because they come out of the dryer ready to wear, no wrinkles. I have had shorts that cost much more and need to be ironed. No ironing is much better. I ordered 3 more pairs for that reason. How long they will last I don't know I just got them a few weeks ago.
