I had this exact set for 6 years, they finally starting the breaking down of the rubber backing after a bunch of washings. I loved them so much I bought 2 more of the same runners. I'm over 60 and have never has any rubber backing rugs last this long. I've even paid much more for the other rugs.

Latex backing!

This would be five stars all the way around if when one loop didn't break in the whole thing comes unraveled, but it's practically the only carpet that I can find that is not a solid color that has a latex backing so it does not slip on the hard floor. I love it.
