Maybelline DREAM CUSHION Fresh Face Liquid Foundation On-The-Go, SPF20, 30 Sand .51oz

I've been looking for this everywhere and couldn't find it, just now realised that had been discontinued. Such a shame as it was a fantastic foundation, light and easy to apply with magnificent texture and strong SPF.

I am in love with this product simply because I have finally found an affordable foundation that matches my skin tone . So much that I went and bought 2 more because I never want to run out of this shade.For people like me who have a tanned dark Indian skin tone you will know my pain in finding a drug store foundation that matches my skin tone. Sometimes it is almost impossible. So thankyou Maybelline  for a broader range of skin-tones. I am very happy with the shade that I chose. (48 Sun Beige).I had never tried Cushion Foundations , so was very excited to try one from Maybelline. I am very impressed with the quality of this product. It comes in a convenient compact. Easy to store and handy to carry in your purse for touch-ups.The compact contains a handy mirror inside as well as a soft puff (sponge) very handy for on the go makeup application. The foundation is contained in a squishy sponge inside.I have heaps of foundation brushes and sponges in my collection but for the sake of trialling this foundation properly I only used the provided sponge(puff) to apply the foundation. I must say I was pretty happy with how the sponge applied my foundation.I just had to dab softly and it gave me medium to full coverage application.Apply a second coat to get a full coverage but just one coat gives me medium coverage which I am happy with. The sponge also gave me a streak free smooth finish.The foundation is build-able without looking cakey. I found that it gave me a natural finish and it almost looks like skin on my face.It feels really lightweight and comfortable on the face. I am happy that it does not look cakey or obvious that you are wearing foundation. really enjoy the finish of this foundation. It has a natural finish, it is neither dewy nor matte just right in the middle and yet it gives you a glowing face. It suited well with my combination skin. did not make my cheeks look oily nor make my other parts of my face look dry.It has an SPF 40 which is an added bonus. Especially during the hot summers we have currently. It just gives you an extra sun protection .I found that the foundation lasted throughout the day without wearing off.Overall this is a great product which I would definitely repurchase. I love using this as an everyday foundation and this will be my travel companion because of the travel friendly spill proof packaging.
