Smells Amazing When Burning!
Torch Fuel is one of those items you can't try out and smell before you burn it, so you rely on what reviewers say. I can tell you this smells amazing! In addition to the pleasant smell of the citronella, it also did not produce any back smoke, like some other brands do. The other great thing I really like with this brand was the large 50 oz size, which is great if you have several outside touches around the backyard. This brand Mainstays, also did a great job on the design of the pouring spout! Every other brand I have tried in the past has a regular large opening on top of the bottle, and makes it messy when adding the fuel to the touch- but not this brand! Super easy to pour!. I love this product and I wont be changing- too many great things.
EZ fill, no spill
This Mainstays Citronella Scented Torch fuel works great. I think that it performed better than the big brand name fuel that we having been buying but costs a fraction of the price. The scent of Citronella is nice and not so overpowering or offensive that it bothers us while we are near the torches. We used this fuel in several torches along with a few citronella candles in the areas where we were enjoying our time outdoors and we were relatively bite free from mosquitoes all night. The glow from the torches and the pleasant scent of the citronella helps make me feel more relaxed and able to enjoy the night. The fuel burned clean and didn't put off any black smoke as it was burning. The features that I like best about the bottle's design are the molded bottle area that grips to fit my hand for a steadier pour and the EZ fill spout for less spills or messy refilling of the torches. This bottle is 100 fluid ounces so I got a considerable amount of fuel for the price which is a great value to me. I was able to fill 4 wide mouth torches and still have half of the bottle of fuel left. We were outside for around three hours and our torches still have lots of fuel left inside of them. The instructions for filling and storing the fuel was very detailed. It was very helpful to have that information especially for the safety of those who may be new to using this type of fuel. I am replacing the brand of torch fuel I have previously been buying with this Mainstays Brand Citronella Scented Torch fuel.
No bugs!
I received this citronella torch fuel for outdoor fuel torches. It works great! Lit right up, stays lit even in wind, and has a nice citronella scent. It kept the bugs away and gives a pretty atmosphere to your patio area. I like it and would recommend it.
