Purina Pro Plan Indoor Dry Cat Food LiveClear Cat Allergen Reducing Turkey and Rice Formula, 5.5 lb Bag

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We LOVE Purina LiveClear because it allowed our household, with a cat-allergic man, to adopt a senior cat!!! We give our cat a quarter cup per day of these crunchies, in addition to his regular wet meals. Thanks to Purina, our household is able to have a cat!! My partner has severe cat allergies and asthma. After 3 weeks of our newly-adopted senior cat eating this food (and my partner taking allergy meds and not petting him too much those 3 weeks), my partner's allergies improved a lot. A few months later, and our cat started to cuddle us in bed sometimes with no issue, and the only time it bothered my partner was if our cat had a bath right next to him. Then, 6 months after adopting him, our senior boy started to sleep in our room overnight next to our bed with no issues. It's been over a year using Purina LiveClear. My partner went from immediately having itchy eyes, stuffy nose, and scratchy throat being in a room a cat was in… (pre-purina liveclear) to now being able to sit next to our cat when he bathes, our cat can sleep in our room at night or cuddle us in bed, and my partner no longer needs to take allergy meds like in the first few weeks as the food took effect. And our cat LOOOVES the crunchies. He tries to break into the bag!! Despite getting his vet-calculated amount of calories LOL. He loves Purina LiveClear too! Yes I'm reviewing cuz I'm entering a contest but I recommend Purina LiveClear on any social media post I come across about people who have a household member with cat allergies who say they must give away their cats - I tell them about this food and they say they hadn't heard about it and will give it a try, cuz they want to keep their cats!! I've commented on so many posts in different cat groups about how amazing it's been for us, with no incentive, just to help other families like ours so they can keep their kitties and relieve their allergies.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This food absolutely works! I have extreme allergies to cats. Once I found this food, I switched and I'm so happy I did. We let our son get a cat but my allergies are really bad. I felt I could handle it by just washing my hands, but that didn't work. This food actually does work! I am proof…I have never been able to have a cat. I'm allergic to a chemical in the cats saliva which is exactly what the food aims to reduce. If you have allergies you need this food for your cat.
