I ordered this tack hammer specifically because my husband and I were trimming a new headboard with specialized tacks and we didn't want to scratch or dent the tacks with a regular claw hammer. Not only did the hammer scratch and dent the tacks but it wasn't heavy enough to drive the tacks into fiberboard.
