Loud Exhaust

I needed a way to quiet my exhaust without major surgery. I have a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner with a 426 Hemi, with a 3 inch exhaust. This took the edge off the loud exhaust, alleviating the droning at cruising speed and saving my hearing and sanity. Great product, affordable and easy to use.

SHHHHH Quiet

INSTALLED EASILY IN 3 INCH PIPE BY TAPPING IN WITH A HAMMER AND BRASS DRIFT. USED IN CON-JUCTION WITH THE 3 INCH BAFFLE (you might need to put a tack weld or screw in the baffle to hold it) SOUNDS GOOD TO ME. POLICE HAVEN'T PULLED ME OVER. I would call it a cheap muffler and would also reccomend both products. Heavy duty and good quality.

Great value

Have very loud big block vette with Hooker headers and sidepipes. Installed Classic Chambered fiberglass wrapped mufflers. Way too loud and a loud drone noise. Purchased a pair of 3"" auger inserts. Trimmed to fit inside header end of mufflers. Did sound testing with my cellphone app before and after augers. Interior drone noise decreased considerably. Inside and outside decibels with the windows open and closed dropped about 5db + or - 2db. Am considering another auger in opposite end of muffler. The design of the auger does not reduce the exhaust air flow enough to notice performance issues. Chuck
