i think the best thing about this unit is the lack of cleaning. yes the lack of. you just wipe out the bucket/pot and its good to go, no crazy mixing chemicals to get rid of water scale, ive ran it nom stop(except for when it runs out of water) and love it the other one o got at the same time is aready showing signs that its not going to last long. have to clean the heating element to much.

it is very, very easy to assemble. once assembled, just add water, turn it on and bam! humidity! been using it for a month now and haven't needed to clear the filter yet and i use it nightly. had never, not once, leaked. i will say, don't knock it over. it's so easily assembled and doesn't really lock together, so I wouldn't use it in an environment with a clumsy person or pet. perfect for the price!
