ABN Half-Moon Aluminum Water Pump Sprocket Holder for GM Ecotec Vehicle Engine

When performing vehicle water pump installation or removal, instead of taking the entire front cover off the engine and redoing both timing chains, use the ABN Water Pump Sprocket Holder – Half-Moon Aluminum Tool and O-Ring Clip-Retained Bolts for GM Ecotec Vehicle Engine to securely hold the water pump sprocket to prevent loss of timing or damage to the engine. Full circle holders make it impossible to reach the water pump sprocket bolts behind the front cover. However, this holder has a half-circle design for easier access to the water pump gear bolts. There are factory machined holes to accommodate this tool, and it uses access cover bolts to hold the tool in place. The bolts are O-ring clip-retained, so there is no need to worry about dropping them inside the timing gear cover.
