Char-Broil 133517 17.5 in. Pro-Sear Grill Grid

Years ago, I had unfortunately bought a different brand of propane grill. The original grate rusted way in the first year of use from scrubbing off the BBQ sauce crust left after each use... and I used the grill a lot, many times several times a week. I replaced the grates with the 17.5 Pro-Sear Porcelain Grate. It out lasted the grill. I used that grill approx. 10 years. The cast iron burners eventually turned to flaking rust... but those grates still look almost as good as they did when new. Before I throw the meat on the grill, I pre-heat the grill.....which turns the previous accumulated sauce stuck to the grates into white ash. Then it is simple to brush the grate clean using a ceramic brush. I turned that old propane grill into a charcoal grill.. and am still using the original 17.5" Pro-Sear Porcelain Grate

At the beginning of the grilling season I bought this grate for us to use in our BBQ. It has made our grilling experience much better by giving us more surface and different temperatures in the grill. By having it at a different level we can control the heat.
