Proactive approaches in managing non-financial firms forex portfolios (Paperback)

By closely referring to Albanian economy structure and consequently to its relations and external shocks derived from main trade partners as well as recognizing that defensive options against currency exchange rates fluctuations aren't yet developed, the research carried out is oriented in the identification of factors that affect EUR/USD exchange rate volatility in the market in question, aiming to suggest to the economic agents exposed to the a/m exchange risk an appropriate assessment method without additional costs, instantaneous, and above all not complicated for its forecasting in short term period. Then, the matter is further explored with the intent to estimate the maximal losses due to exchange rates fluctuations in currency portfolios of important non-financial firms (the also called "VIP" according to fiscal classification) operating in Albania, as they are particularly exposed in EUR and USD, as well as design the necessary currency interventions to be implement for hedge and why not gain purposes trying by this way to prevent and benefit as much as possible from the above exchange fluctuations in micro level and simultaneously hoping to pave the way to other studies.
