This scratching g post is the only one our cat loves. He had the smaller version when he was little. Whatever it is he loves it. He has never scratched the furniture which we are thankful for. We have had multiples of this one and they last a long time. Love it

Only scratcher cats will use
My cats refuses to scratch sisal and not a lot of companies make carpet material scratchers. All my cats enjoy using this scratcher leaving the sisal scratchers collecting dust. I even have the highest rated pioneer cat scratcher, but they have not touched it once.
