Samsung Notebook 5 15.6" Full HD Laptop, Intel Core i7 i7-6500U, 8GB RAM, 1TB HD, 128GB SSD, Windows 10 Home, Solid Black, NP500R5L-M03US

This Samsung laptop is premium looking. It's very thin but strong built. Loved the keyboard, very easy for typing. Loved its black and white sandwich color. Laptop is very light weight just 4.2 lbs. It's lightning fast, Intel i7 (6th gen), it has dual drive, 128 GB SSD comes as C drive which is more than enough to install windows and apps , 1 TB (D) is sufficient for rest of storage. It has faster 8GB DDR4 RAM. I haven't experienced any lag so far even running heavier applications, Visual Studio for integration services, SSMS (I opened up to 10 instances all opens fraction of second), Outlook, office, Chrome etc. Boots up in couple of seconds. Battery lasted around 6-7 hours, with regular usages (mostly battery consuming applications, videos ,Cortana, other windows apps for my development environment running). So decent. It has full HD display it also has feature to set the display Dynamic, Reading, auto etc. as per you need. It is also a nice display if you have to work more with windows applications. Because of high resolution FHD display has to be scaled to 125% to see the fonts in windows apps properly. It's still manageable with FHD display, while with QHD it has worsened. Only down side about the laptop could be that it does not have touch but that is something we don't need in a 15'' laptop. I rarely used it in my previous laptop. Samsung has introduced some of the nice features like Auto boot, Silence mode, battery life extender, setting display optimized for reading(loved this one as I works hours on this screen) or dynamic or auto. Sound effect for movies, music etc. Privacy protection for webcam /microphone. For me, over all it's value for money, it's powerful, premium looking, light weight device which I love working on and I love typing on it's keyboard. I was little skeptical before buying as there were no previous reviews available but I am happy with this buy.
