Great variety of mixes and extras.

The packaging and print quality are top-notch—visually striking, a good read, though admittedly a bit overwhelming at first for what began as a single album. Technical Ecstasy wasn't widely embraced when it first came out, but I've always had a soft spot for it. I picked up my first CD copy in the late '80s and still have it. It marked another shift in Sabbath's sound, and I was into it—even the follow-up, Never Say Die. The audio quality here is excellent, and I'm glad to have both the remastered mix and the significantly improved Steven Wilson remix. Unfortunately, the original multitrack for “It's Alright” couldn't be located, but the mono version included is excellent. The extended mix of “Dirty Women” is a great addition too. I've been consistently impressed by the wave of vinyl reissues over the past six years, and this one holds up beautifully. The live LP included in this box set is a standout—really enjoyable. Long Live Ozzy, you are missed and it was great meeting you some years back.

Must have box set for your Sabbath collection

one of my favorite Black Sabbath albums. definitely underrated, has classic sabbath sounding songs and others that could be Ozzy solos. don't pass up this super deluxe box, especially at this great price.

Classy box set, contains lots of fun finds!

I snagged this baby for $33 on sale - the full, complete box set. This album was never my favorite originally but I've come to love it more over the years (I def like it more now than I did 30 years ago). There's a Steve Wilson remix album on here that's even BETTER than the org! And the live albums are pretty good as well (considering, most 70's live Sabbath sounds pretty poor, both in band sound and quality of recording). This is a classy box set! Well worth it!
