This works so great for us! The motion sensor works really well, a little too well, I had to angle it away from our bed as it was turning on with our every move while we slept. I bought this because we are getting a new kitten and I wanted a little light to come on when we get up in the middle of the night for restroom runs. It is the perfect amount of light, not too bright, and it only stays on 15 seconds. When you get the item put in the batteries and go into a room like a closet with no windows. It will not work in the daytime as indicated. There are three modes on the switch. Motion sensor mode, off mode, and light mode, without using the sensor. Just make sure you have it on the motion mode. How are you will be frustrated thinking it does not work.
