The YTX14-BS GEL is a 12V 12AH GEL (Maintenance Free) battery. Requires no addition of water during the life of the battery. The Mighty Max YTX14-BS GEL is a TRUE DEEP CYCLE battery that can be mounted in any position, requires no maintenance. When a Gel Cell battery is charged, no hazardous fumes escape the battery case, gases are processed within the battery itself.
Common uses for the YTX14-BS GEL: ATVs, Motorcycles, Personal Watercraft, Jet Ski's, Snowmobiles and more.

I installed the battery in a UTV. Although the UTV sits for long periods in the winter so far it starts every time. It was also easy to install which some of the batteries of this type that claim to be for my vehicle are not.
