She found out that excuse did not impress Him in the least so, in submission to the Lord of her life, she sat down and wrote. That's one thing that makes this book so real and endearing. She does not try to dazzle the reader with her superior knowledge of the craft of writing, she simply tells what happened, how she stumbled like the rest of us, and how having God at the center of any plan saves so much grief and pain.
