Fantastic combo.

The best deal on a rod in a long time! I bought one of these 2 years ago for full price, and it is a very good combo. I use it mainly inshore, and it has never given me a moments trouble. Just keep it clean and oiled and you'll have it for years. I can't wait to catch a beast on this one!

I've had this combo for some time now and I can't say anything bad about it. Has a great drag the ratio is very high, when reeling in it's 2 times much faster than my Shimano 4500 and my Shun Tong 6000. This Penn Pursuit III has everything I need when fishing off the rocky shores, on the beach or on a boat off shore fishing. I purchased this combo on April 25, 2022 and will buy it again if I get a chance. A good pice of fishing gear.

Great line for the budget minded

Great affordable setup. I fish a minimum of four days a week. These things hold up and take a licking. I'd say best bang for your buck the pursuit lineup can't go wrong for a combo around 60 bucks I have the 4000 and 6000 setups. All saltwater use weekly and daily use.
