If you need a cover for a bare memory foam or latex topper layer, this is a good cover to protect it and comfortable. The only drawback is the corner straps don't hold on a foam mattress, they slip up. It wasn't a problem for me because the fitted bottom sheet holds it in place anyway.

Bamboo is supposed to be a more environmentally friendly fabric choice (depending on the production method, be it mechanical or chemical). However, this product is actually also 20% microfibre - as stated on the sewn on tag, but not online. Microfibre is a big issue for aquatic ecosystems when the plastic fibres shed in the washing machine. Two stars because the product is at least soft and has a nice feel to it. I can't say how well it fits though, as I returned it and instead put in the money for a more eco-friendly option. It seemed well enough made, but who is to say how long it would hold up for. I would likely guess, given the added plastic that I noted (as well as that this product came to me in a vinyl bag), that they don't care a whole lot and used the cheaper and less environmentally friendly bamboo fibre processing method. That would also mean a less long lasting result in terms of fabric integrity.
