Incredible sleep

We absolutely loved these silk pillow cases. They helped me stay cooler at night and not frizz my hair. The gray color matches my bed and looks so classy. I'm giving an extra one to a friend as a gift they are that awesome. You wouldn't regret this purchase if you were looking for silk sheets.

Once you go silk you never go back

I was always hesitant to try silk bedding in any form. I figured it would feel like polyester "satin", because I had never owned silk anything. I'm used to cotton. I also imagined it making me hot/sweaty to lay on. But not only is it smooth and buttery, supposedly silk pillowcases are good for your hair and skin and produce less friction. I don't feel overheated. It is just a little more challenging to care for of a material. Silk is strong when dry but weak when wet and can be easily damaged in a dryer. Make sure to google how to care for silk. I do machine wash mine but hang them to dry. If I wash them in the a.m. they are dry by bedtime. This champagne color is quite a bit more gold/yellow than I pictured it would be, but it's still a nice color. I didn't want white because I was worried it would get lost in my sheets laundry and accidently end up in the dryer. I'm not sure how I feel about the zip closure because usually my pillowcases have an open end. But I was able to fit even a full, fully pillow into the opening and there was some extra room to spare. The photo Im attaching I had not yet washed the pillowcase so it had creases. Washing and hanging to dry reduces the creases.

Silky soft

The silk pillowcases feel great when you lay your head. I had always used pillowcases that came with sheet sets and never tried silk until recently when I got a silk pillowcase as a gift for Christmas. This set came as a 4 pack and I was eager to have more to rotate when I wash my bedding. I don't know how anyone wouldn't love the feel of silk other than it does feel a little cool at first but I love the feel. I'm happy with the fit on my pillow also, I had no issues getting it on and it zipped very easily.
