Forensic Chemistry of Chemical Detection of Fingerprints Kit

There are other ways than simply dusting to find fingerprints. Students will learn about the types of fingerprints, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of various fingerprinting techniques. In addition, they will perform their own forensic experiments to find fingerprints. This forensic chemistry kit comes with instructions for three different activities: fingerprint analysis, ninhydrin development, and cyanocacrylate fuming. The kit comes with enough material for 15 groups of students, and includes detailed instructions, student study guide copymasters, and safety data sheets for all materials.
