Athlon Optics Midas G2 12x50 UHD Binocular

When I first put these binoculars up to my eyes, the image was shockingly crisp and clear. At home during the winter I usually use a pair of Steiners with a 60mm objective. They're very good glass, so I wasn't expecting to be this impressed. But when I looked through these Athlons—especially considering I already own several Athlon rifle scopes—the clarity really stood out. The image is incredibly sharp and bright. As much as it pains me to admit it, the view is even clearer than my Swarovski Z3 scope. I realize that's not a perfectly fair comparison since one is binocular and the other is a rifle scope, but that's honestly the level of clarity we're talking about. Needless to say, I can't wait to put these to work during deer season.

Packaging was A+ and arranged neatly. Setup was very simple and ready to use right away. Bino straps were nicely featured!! Clips to fast adjust to your needs! Carrying bag can be hung around neck or belt looped. After setting up the focus on the glass, beautiful. Adjustments are precise and geared just right. Light yet sturdy body. Now lets see how they fair at the Grand Canyon!!!
