An osmotic laxative, it works by holding water in the stool to soften the stool and increases the number of bowel movements. Generally produces a bowel movement in 1 to 3 days. Unflavored and grit free powder dissolves in any beverage. Available without a prescription for adults and children ages 17 years and older. Sugar free and gluten free. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking a prescription drug. When using this product you may have loose, watery, more frequent stools. Stop use and ask a doctor if: you have rectal bleeding or your nausea, bloating, cramping or abdominal pain gets worse. These may be signs of a serious condition; you get diarrhea; you need to use a laxative for longer than 1 week. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Told both sides because the Point I want to make is, I think products like this depends on the persons body chemistry, size, health, Etc.. .. Works great for some and not so great for others! .. I do think this is a great product for some of us and it is worth trying if it can save you a lot of $$.

Works well and is easy on my stomach
This is the first time using something like this, but it's helping a lot. I've used other laxatives and they work but even stimulate free makes my stomach churn. This doesn't do any of that. I dissolves in coffee completely without grit or flavor. I used this for one week and I'm going like a normal person again. Definitely will continue to use this because I feel better in general.
