This is a well made magnifying mirror - I like the 10x magnification as it allows one to see greater detail at a distance of about 2 to 3 inches away. The mirror is sturdy and well built and is suitable to travel - just took it on a 3 week vacation to Africa and packed it in my suitcase (albeit with some clothing around it). The 5 inch size, makes it portable yet large enough to capture and see all the details. The opposite side functions as a regular mirror. You will be very happy with this purchase.
