Gingerlily Antibacterial Hand & Face Cleansing Wash is a gel that yields a thin milky lather. It removed my waterproof eyeliner, but not my waterproof mascara. It rinsed well, didn't irritate my face, didn't sting my eyes and didn't leave a film on my face. It has a light floral scent that gives you a spa experience every day. I prefer to use Gingerlily as a facial cleanser, because it's a safe antibacterial facial product. I have other cleansers for my hands.
