(8 pack) Betty Crocker Delights Super Moist French Vanilla Cake Mix, Holiday Baking, 13.25 oz

We always like to tweak box directions. This time we added an extra egg, 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream and 1/2 cup bisquick and an extra 1/3 cup of olive oil (we always use olive oil in cakes and if the batter was too thick we'd add a little more water until the consistency was still dense enough to hold up the baking chips.) Since Betty Crocker reduced the amount of mix in their boxes, we thought we'd add the bisquick. Then on top we sprinkled some white chocolate baking chips (if the batter is too thin, the chips will sink to the bottom.) They liked how it turned out. We end up letting it cool completely and cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and storing in the refrigerator until it's gone. Some like to heat up the cold cake in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds, some like it cold. We do variations on all the cakes. We've also tried adding fresh blueberries to cake mixes, that has always been good, also tried adding pumpkin pie mix to cake mixes, that turned out good, also.
