I installed it in a spare work room to draw out stagnant air and smoke and does the job well, though it's not super powerful for the wattage and volts it uses. I paid $20 for it at the time, and for the price, it's well worth it. You can hear it when it runs but it's low, so it's not going to drive you crazy. Solid construction. You'll have to split the cable if you want to be able to turn it on or off, as it doesn't have an on/off switch, so when plugged in, it runs constantly.
