super sturdy, it's very slippery on wood but I added some anti-slip furniture pads to the bottom legs and it worked out perfectly. I was hesitant to buy at first because it said it wouldn't arrive for 2 weeks but came in 3 days later. It took 2 people to build but honestly very easy
