1.5 HP, 115 & 230V Square Flange Standard Efficient Full Rate Single Phase Motor
This Motor, 1-1/2 HP Sq-Flg Std Ef Full Rate Single Phase 115/230, is a replacement 1.5 horsepower threaded shaft full-rated pool motor with 6.5" Diameter Frame and a Switchless Design. This is a 56Y frame Square Flange motor that is 1/2" wider (body diameter) than 48Y frame but has identical hole spacings on the Square Flange or Face and it has 4 - Non Threaded bolt holes at 1, 5, 7 and 11 O'Clock to mate up with the seal plate. Motor Shaft is threaded on the end. No attached Base. 303 stainless steel shaft is threaded on the end (Shaft Threads - 1/2-20 UNF-2A). This two-compartment motor has a 50 degrees Celsius ambient temperature with Class B insulation and a 1.50 Service Factor. Aside from the triple bearing protection and 1081 design, it also offers a continuous duty feature. It is also an open drip-proof or ODP motor that typically runs cooler and does not overheat. The sealed ball bearings incorporate steel-reinforced rubber seals that are securely fastened to a groove on the outer ring. With a 300 Series stainless steel shaft and thermally protected design, it also features Voltage Selection Device (Dual Voltage Only). Along with its 230/115 Volts and 10.8/21.6 maximum Amperes (Max. Amps), it has a frequency of 60Hz which means that the voltage goes from positive to negative and back to positive (one complete cycle) 60 times every second.
