In Arizona, the sun will destroy a garden hose. And the dust doesn't help either. For some reason, it just makes it crack and break down and it's impossible to find something that can last a few years. In my experience, these Flexzilla hoses are the best looking and the most reliable. I still don't think you want them out in the sun all day, but even if you do, they do better than the other hoses I've tried. If you have shade, use it. Also, they don't kink almost at all.
