Must have Plug aerator for compacted clay soil.

After previously owning the 48" plug Agri Fab aerator, a move to the gulf coast facilitated the need for lawn aeration. After paying a small fortune to have my yard aerated. I decided to buy my own plug aerator. Now I can cheaply and frequently aerate my own lawn which consist mainly of compacted clay. Since my purchase, my yard of consisting of St Augustine grass has greatly improved.

Works Great

Used the aerator after a couple of days of light rain so the ground was damp and it performed very well. I just put the bag of grass seed and fertilizer that I planned to use afterwards on it for weight and the plugs sank all the way down. Would recommend for the price. Assembly can be tricky but not too terrible. Some illustrations can be confusing. I did not use the youtube instructions.

Used one time so far this fall and worked flawlessly. Takes some time to assemble but not to difficult. Bolt holes are not drilled to right size on the upper tray to side pieces, had to use the smaller bolts so hopefully it will hold up for years to come (fingers crossed). The defect should be corrected I've seen multiple reviews state this and still has not been corrected.
