It gets the job done, but not well

The webcam on my laptop stopped working so I got this. It gets the job done, but when it is very zoomed in on your face and there is no way to adjust that. It also does not clip onto anything, you have to bend it and rest it on the top edge of your laptop. What would be the most secure way to attach it actually makes it so that your image is upside down (also no way to adjust it) so you have to bend it the opposite direction and carefully rest it on the top of the laptop screen and make sure not to bump your computer at all.
