Pretty poor - not acceptable for the price!

I returned this appliance as it was nothing near the quality i expected. Prior reviews were pretty good but i found it difficult to operate and the noise level when cooling was totally unacceptable. I wanted it to cool a bedroom at night, but found that ‘earplugs' would be required to sleep in the same room when it was running. (Vibration-rattling noise)

Buyer beware doesn't cool as advertised.

Unit doesn't cool as advertised. Runs 24/7 uses lots of electricity light bill increased 35%. Coolest the small room will become is 75 on an 80 degree day. Going back to a window unit they seem to be more efficient.

Garbage

Avoid at all cost. Cools no better than a 5000 btu, repeatedly shuts down to getting hot, and will start stinking in a couple day. You have to drill holes in your floor so unit can drain, which does poorly. Remote will forget unit code all the time so you have to constantly hit the power to search for it. The worst of it all is cleaning it, basically have to tear down the whole unit to get gunk out of it. Stay away from these. Window units are way more effective and half the cost to run.
