A substantial improvement over then AR637T

Once you become familiar with the Forwarding Programmer, the AR637T becomes your best acquisition. The main limitation is that the numerous education training videos poorly pedagogy designed because they often left unfinished sequences and make numerous assumptions -take a while to figure out how to program the AR637T and intimidate new users. Two good examples: Do we need to use a Smart Technology ESC to take advantage of the telemetry? The use and purpose of the 4-line cable are not mentioned in the videos.

Great Receiver!

I purchased this to replace a buggy flight controller in my Carbon Cub S2 and love the features. If this is your first time setting up SAFE/AS3X receiver, then I highly recommend watching the Spektrum video series on YouTube to guide you through the fairly simple process!

Best rx on the market

I have used admiral and lemon and others. This is by far the easiest to program and provides good range of flight parameters. I much prefer this over the ar 636 as it is much more difficult to setup for any particular plane. Liked it so well I bought 3 more to upgrade my other planes.
