Great timer. I have a timer on my stove, but it is stationary. I wanted something I could take with me to another room. This is perfect. Note that it has an on and off button on the right side. When I received it, I inserted a battery and hit start. Nothing happened. Then I read another reviewer and was so thankful. The numbers are large, making it multi purposed and functional. I'm grateful for it. My other timer, another brand, quit after seven months.
