My husband wanted a waterbed…he's been going on about it for a year. Finally found one on here and ordered it. He's happy.
Headboard was different than in the picture. I actually like it better. We have shelves and lights. The base however underneath is not oak, it was black boards. The rest was oak, the frame around the bed and the headboard.
Real wood. Looks nice. Nostalgia…
Cats don't know what to think of it lol.
Keep in mind you can't use one of these beds in an apartment building unless your on the bottom floor. I'm sure it's like 2000 lbs.
We bought padded rails to go with it that we got off of Amazon for $500. Looks nice and completes the look. The instructions that came with the frame were mental…we didn't know there was better ones in the mattress box until we had the frame together. That was Homer Simpson “doh” moment…
I didn't know it came with a heater. I had bought two online. So we used the two for the bed and have the one that came with it put aside. It also comes with the waterbed liner…I had purchased one separately that I chose to use instead as the one that came with it was fine, but the one I bought was better. So yes the bed comes with a heater and liner. Liner is a bit thin but it works, only one heater …my opinion is that it needs two…
I think you need two heaters for the size of the mattress with a cal king. We had them both on med/high and needed too …
Took 24 hrs to be warmed up.
We bought it in the summer, so it wasn't too bad without them on.
I like toasty beds so that's my preference. It is a neat bed. Now our kids want one lol. My husband is not a carpenter and was able to put it together….It just sits on a simple box frame. Not hard to put together. Everything fit like to should.
