This is a really basic Cinch Bag. The fabric is a heavier type nylon and appears to be sturdy. It's not the bulky backpack. It doesn't have any padding. I've used it to throw several of my books in that I'm currently reading, and I can pick it up easily and take it with me, without the bulk. I can also use it as a pool bag and throw my pool supplies in it. I wasn't sure how much I would use this, but I find myself using it almost everyday. It's easy to pick up and go. The backpack straps are nice because I can throw it over my arm or use it as a backpack. If you're looking for something simple, easy to use, and functional, I think you will find this bag very useful.

The Mato & Hash drawstring gym backpack provides an incredibly cost effective solution to storing and transporting gym items. It's essentially a 15.5"X13.5” bag that has drawstrings attached to four of the corners as well as the open end so you can both cinch it closed and carry it like a backpack. It's a really innovative concept and holds a surprising amount of items. For something that looks this small, it can hold a lot. In the photo I took of the full bag, I have a pair of compression leggings, a t-shirt, and a bath sheet inside (bath sheets being quite a bit larger than bath towels). If I'd put in a bath towel, I could easily have also stuffed in a pair of sneakers along with the leggings and t-shirt. So that being said, you should be able to store and tote pretty much everything you need for a trip to the gym without needing bulky gym bags or storage totes. Of course, slinging this on your back leaves you hands-free which is always convenient. The bag is made of a light but very rugged 210 denier polyester material that cleans and dries easily. I would recommend washing this by hand and placing it flat to dry so that the strings don't end up getting wound around other clothing. Though this bag is advertised as a gym backpack, it has a ton of other useful applications. It would be great for hiking storage, toting pet food/toys, baby items, etc. You could use it in any situation that you needed to transport items affordably and easily. The best part is that when it's empty, it folds up and takes up hardly any space. You could even stuff the empty bag in a pocket it's so small. This means you could keep them in several different locations like your car, your locker, at work, etc. I think this is a really unique product and it is incredibly useful. I would definitely recommend it.
