Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset

My first comment is these are an incredible headset but are not Bluetooth. They require the supplied dongle in order to operate. It seems everything labeled wireless is Bluetooth these days so made an assumption that I'd somehow also be able to use these on my phone (I tried an OTG adapter out of curiosity but was a no go on my phone). Overall though, the G533 headset delivers great sound and clear voice through the microphone. I'm very pleased with these and have been comparing them with the Astro A10 wired headset that I've been using. This one definitely gets the highs right and sounds much cleaner with a tight low end. It boasts 7.1 surround and am a skeptic on headsets which claim to be surround as you only have two drivers. But after listening to the sample file included in the setup, it's pretty incredible. It's a truly convincing surround experience and you really need to hear it to appreciate it. Microphone also delivered well on clarity and works great for gaming. Make sure you install the Logitech G Hub to take full advantage of this headset. It lets you control just about every aspect of the headset even letting you control the volume on each of the surround channels individually. It's sorta funny, as all the volume numbers go to 11! That's one louder than 10! The hub also allows you to control room, stereo mode, and a ten band EQ to get the sound just as you'd like it and save presets to switch between settings at any time. There is also a smooth digital volume control wheel and a single button on the headset perfectly placed for your left hand thumb which by default mutes the microphone but through the software can be reprogrammed to do just about anything from audio controls, commands, macros, discord actions, or keys. I particularly loved this as I wanted to listen to music around my place and was easily able to reprogram it to advance to the next track. The volume and microphone both give unique audible indicators when increases/engaged or decreased/disengaged. Microphone also has an LED indicator when muted. Headset is highly serviceable. Battery is easy to access and replaceable so you don't have to wait for a recharge and you won't be throwing these out because the battery has gone bad. Additional batteries look to be available for about $15-20. The battery last a long time (15 hours) so unless you forget to charge these, you probably would be fine with the stock battery. Headset ear pads can also be removed to let you clean them if they get gunky. Definitely a well thought out premium headset with great sound and lots of additional features. No hesitation on recommending these.

I love these headphones! The surround sound is terrific, I feel completely immersed in the movie, game or music, I'm watching or listening too. They have great range, I can walk all over my apartment without getting disconnected. They are very comfortable, can definitely wear it all day. The battery life is awesome. I also love that you can choose to extend the mic or retract it when not in use. The controls are all located on the left ear and easily accessible. It was incredibly easy to install, literal plug and play, the computer does all the installing. Once it's installed, it links up automatically when you plug in the receptor. My only suggestion would be to make them bluetooth-able as well.
