This is my second one of these bite guards in three years. This has saved me the cost of dental work! If I hadn't started wearing this at bedtime I would have kept wearing away my front teeth which was affecting my teeth's appearance. It was suggested to me by my dentist when I balked a $250 custom made bite guard. This works perfectly. It is thin enough to wear comfortably at bedtime, but just thick enough to do the job. NOTE: I also have TMJ and it is thin enough not to exacerbate the TMJ.

I bought this night guard because my jaw nerve on the left side of my face got inflamed very badly and I was in a lot of pain, especially 1 top molar that was super sensitive. I kept getter woken up in the middle of the night with jarring pain in my mouth, so bad that I woke up with an audible gasp. I bought this in hopes this would keep my teeth from grinding at night and help soothe my irritated nerve. It fits comfortably and keeps me from waking up with jarring, electrified pain in the middle of the night!
